Abstract
|
|
|
Ceftezole, a new cephalosporin C derivative, was used for treatment of 30 cases with baterial infe tion during the period of June, 1988 to September, 1988, and the results were as follows;
1. Among 30 cases, 83.3% was sensitive, 6.7% was intermediate, and 10% was resistant to ceftezole in Sensitivity test.
2. Clinical response was good in 21, fair in 5, poor in 4, and the over-all effectiveness was 86.7%.
3. Significant adverse effects including renal, hepatic or hematologic impairment were not developed, during the period of administration of the drug.
